ABOUT US

A cinematic photo editor built by people who love film color

Cinematic Photo started from a simple frustration: getting a photo to look like a still from a favorite movie usually meant hand-tuning curves in a desktop editor, hunting down presets of unclear origin, or paying for a subscription just to try a handful of color grades. We wanted something faster: a tool that goes straight from a flat photo to a movie-grade look in one click, without a learning curve in the way.

So we built a focused, browser-based editor around a small set of color grades modeled on recognizable film looks (teal-and-orange neo-noir, cold cosmic blue, warm desert gold, high-gain digital green, and crushed-shadow steel), plus the texture details that sell a cinematic still: film grain, vignette, glow and halation, anamorphic letterboxing, and a film-stock stamp.

Why it's private by default

Every filter, grade, and export in Cinematic Photo runs locally on an HTML canvas inside your own browser tab. We made this choice deliberately: your photos are yours, and a color-grading tool has no real reason to see them. There are no uploads, no accounts, and no server-side storage. The editing happens entirely on your device.

Who we build for

Photographers, filmmakers, and social creators use Cinematic Photo for thumbnails, posters, and portfolio stills. If that sounds like you and you run into a rough edge or want to see a new preset, we'd like to hear about it. Reach out on our Contact Us page.
