Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 7, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Cinematic Photo at cinematicphoto.com (the "Service"), operated by Cinematic Photo ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Use of the Service
Cinematic Photo is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. The Service applies color grading, film grain, letterboxing, and related visual effects to images you choose to open in your browser. All processing happens locally on your device; we do not receive or store the images you edit.
Your content and ownership
You retain full ownership of any photo you edit with the Service. Because images are never transmitted to us, we make no claim to, and have no access to, your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any image you edit and for how you use the resulting output.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to process or generate content that is unlawful, infringes on the rights of others, or violates applicable law. You also agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for malicious purposes, or interfere with the normal operation of the Service.
Digital products and purchases
We sell certain digital products, such as PNG template packs, as one-time purchases. These purchases are processed entirely by our reseller, Dodo Payments (Dodo Payments Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction, handles billing, sales tax, and customer support for the order, and is bound by its ownterms of use. Purchasing a digital product grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files in your own personal or commercial projects; you may not resell, redistribute, or repackage the files themselves. Because digital files are delivered instantly on purchase, all sales are final once a file has been downloaded, except where required otherwise by applicable law.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser or device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinematic Photo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or output, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
